Being the Junior Head Girl of PYP has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I am thankful for the numerous opportunities during my tenure as Head Girl. I got to conduct innumerable assemblies, check PYP students at Gate 5 in the morning and motivate everyone during inter-house competitions. As I reflect on my time as Head Girl, I recognize how it allowed me to demonstrate the qualities of the learner profile, particularly being open-minded and principled in situations and tasks. I also showcased self-management skills by effectively organizing my schedule and managing multiple duties. It has truly been an honour to serve in this capacity, and I have gained invaluable lessons that will stay with me moving forward. Throughout my time as Head Boy, I developed valuable skills such as communication skills when I conducted various assemblies and compered for Punyatithi. I also demonstrated the learner profile ‘risk-taker’ as I fulfilled new responsibilities with zest and resilience. Overall, I feel incredibly fortunate to have had this opportunity.
