What is the Jamnabai Narsee Co-op Programme

The Jamnabai Narsee Co-operative Education (“Co-op Programme”) was envisioned by Trustee Shri Sujay Jairaj in 2021 with the singular goal of empowering students of IBDP and ISC with a real-world corporate experience.

This is a structured program that seeks to integrate academic studies with relevant, quality work experience.

  • 4-week internship program
  • 20 to 40 hours a week
  • On site, hybrid or virtual

How Does It Work

A guided orientation journey that helps students explore careers, discover strengths, build confidence and move into the programme with clarity.

Once you show interest in participating in the programme, there will be a short session to take you through the process to be followed.

Basic guidance on designing a Resume, preparing for interview and choosing the right work profile based on area of interest will be given.

Companies would conduct an interview before making the selection

You will submit a report to the school

Find quick answers about counselling, health support, confidentiality and safeguarding.

Values are integrated through classroom dialogue, reflection, collaborative work, assemblies and service-learning experiences across age groups.

Students may approach the counselling team directly or connect through a teacher, year-level coordinator or parent referral.

Conversations are treated sensitively and respectfully. Information is shared only when necessary to protect a student's safety or provide appropriate support.

The clinic assesses the student, provides appropriate immediate care and contacts the family when further attention or collection is needed.

Students and families can speak with a trusted teacher, counsellor, coordinator or a designated safeguarding representative. Every concern is taken seriously.
